Published Description

Rogers: One inch haematite seal picturing Shamash, the Sun-God, with one foot on the mountain, and two attendants, one the usual Shumerian worshipper. Porada: A suppliant goddess and a god (with a round cap, hair in a chignon, and holding a mace) before the sun-god in an ascending posture. In the field: A sun-disk in a crescent in the sky.
