These tours and programs are available as outreach programs to schools within a 100-mile radius of the Museum. Each topic is presented in an interactive format that encourages engaged participation. The cost is $50 per staff member visit for schools from 0–50 miles from the Museum and $75 for schools 51–100 miles. This fee covers up to three programs, depending upon time limitations and the program selected. In some cases, up to two additional programs may be added for $10 each, depending on staff availability and program length. Maximum group size, chaperone numbers, and cost may vary significantly between the in-house and outreach versions of the same program; please ask about these requirements when you call to make your reservation.
Selected outreach programs can be presented to single classrooms or combined classrooms. A craft is also available with outreach programs for a $20 surcharge and a limit of 50 participants. call for details.

The availability of these tours and programs is limited. Please contact the Museum early in the school year to reserve your dates.
Documentation Policy: The Spurlock Museum staff frequently videotapes or photographs visitors enjoying Museum programs, tours, special events, or individual time in our galleries. All videotape and photographs are used at the Museum’s discretion and become its sole property. Images are used in various Museum publications and as documentation for reports. The names of the people recorded are not used.

Special Programs
The Spurlock Museum brings visiting ethnic and folk artists to the Champaign-Urbana area for outreach appearances in the schools and performances in special school programs held at the Museum, as well as public concerts, demonstrations, and workshops.
