Zahn Learning Center Open Hours: Dublin Jewelry Store

Edmond Johnson was a silversmith working in Dublin in the early 20th century, and made the metalwork reproductions in the new special exhibit Medieval Irish Masterpieces in Modern Reproduction. Johnson also had a jewelry store on Grafton Street. ZLC OH visitors will be able to look at images from the store and create watches, brooches inspired by the famous Tara Brooch, and other traditional Irish “jewelry” (using materials such as paper, cardboard, pipe cleaners, and Model Magic), as well as a shrink plastic heart map charm of Dublin (or other city).

$2 per crafter to cover materials, UI students admitted free for de-stress finals week event.

Weekend parking is free in non-metered, non-reserved spots in lot D 22, behind the Museum (enter lot on Oregon).
