Edmond Johnson Limited made the metalwork reproductions in the new special exhibit "Medieval Irish Masterpieces in Modern Reproduction". Crafternoon visitors will be able to look at images from the EJ Limited store and create watches, brooches inspired by the famous Tara Brooch, and other traditional Irish “jewelry” (using materials such as paper, cardboard, pipe cleaners, and Model Magic).
Crafternoon is a weekday hands-on crafting program for museum visitors of all ages, with projects designed by the Museum's Education Section students to range skill levels from the youngest visitors up to adults.
The program runs each Tuesday afternoon from October 4 through November 15th in the Zahn Learning Center.
