Open House to Promote Campus Collaboration

The Spurlock Museum invites faculty, staff, and graduate students to attend an open house on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 3:00–6:00 pm. The Museum hopes to promote campus collaboration and is seeking proposals for exhibitions, research projects, and public programs that will highlight our collections or promote an appreciation for world cultures in both historic and modern contexts.

Resources for Students

Graduate students and student groups are encouraged to attend the open house to learn how the Spurlock may be able to provide space for meetings, events, and group tours. Additionally, we will share information on opportunities available at the Museum for internships, practicums, and research projects.

Resources for Faculty

Faculty will learn how to incorporate the Spurlock’s collections into courses, participate on a curatorial committee, collaborate on an exhibit or public program, and explore research projects. Faculty will have the opportunity to speak with Museum staff and other faculty members who have experience collaborating with the Spurlock. Learn how you can sign up for a personalized consultation to discuss how to incorporate the Spurlock collections into your teaching or research.
