Exhibit: The Modern Olympics and the Avery Brundage Collection

A selection of artifacts from the Avery Brundage Collection. Mr. Brundage served as President of the United States Olympic Committee (1929–52) and the International Olympic Committee (1952–72). During his decades in the amateur athletic community, Mr. Brundage amassed a large collection of documents, medals, and memorabilia. Mr. Brundage donated these materials to the World Heritage Museum and the University Archives in the late 1970s. This exhibit highlights artifacts relating to the modern Olympic Games.
