What are the benefits of being a Spurlock Museum Staff member?
Learning New Skills
For student and volunteer staff members, museum duties often involve training in a wide variety of new skill areas, including computer applications (graphics, word processing, database), public speaking, research, program development, artifact handling, publicity, and woodworking. New senior staff members often improve and expand their skills as they apply their knowledge and experience to new situations.
