Passports to Prizes

Looking for something to do this summer? Did you know that there are eleven museums in Champaign County, and one adult can visit them all for less than $20? Such a great deal, and this summer we've made it even better!

Working together as the Museums at the Crossroads Consortium, Champaign County's museums are offering prizes for visiting multiple members between now and August 17. By visiting all eleven museums, you become eligible for the grand prize. By visiting six to ten museums, a runner-up prize could be yours. The grand prize is a basket filled with goodies from all of the museums. The Spurlock Museum is donating a chocolate shoe from Morkes Chocolates of Palatine, Illinois, in honor of this fall's special Campbell Gallery exhibit, A World of Shoes. Runner-up prizes are offered by individual museums and include toys, books, and gift certificates to local businesses. Prizewinners will be drawn at the Urbana Sweetcorn Festival on August 25, 2012 at 1pm.

To get credit for your museum visits and enter the drawings, you need to get your special Consortium passport stamped. Download your passport here (PDF). Full Passport Program rules are available here (PDF). You can also contact Kim Sheahan at 217-244-3355 or or visit the Consortium’s website.
