SUMMARY;LANGUAGE=en-us:"Winter Tales: Choctaw Teller Tim Tingle"
DESCRIPTION:"\rJoin us for one of the Museum’s most popular annual events, a concert of American Indian tales, told during the winter months, the traditional time of telling. Each year, a first voice teller is featured in an educational and entertaining performance for listeners of all ages.  This year's performer is Tim Tingle, an enrolled member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, a nationally renowned speaker and storyteller, and an award-winning author of Native American fiction and folklore. Winter Tales concerts are sponsored by an endowment from Reginald and Gladys Laubin. The events are sponsored in part by the Illinois Arts Council, a state agency. For more information on Tim Tingle, visit our Winter Tales news story.\r"
