Morris will offer a lecture and performance on Wed, Oct. 6, and a workshop on Fri Oct. 8 at the Spurlock Museum.\r\rHis lecture will draw from his book, 'Perpetual Frontier: The Properties of Free Music' (2012), a concise volume on music improvisation developed from nearly four decades of experience as a student, performer, curator, and educator in the field. A performance will follow the lecture that evening at 7:30 pm at the Levis Faculty Center.
