SUMMARY;LANGUAGE=en-us:"Spurlock Sundays: Mola Magic"
DESCRIPTION:"\rThe Kuna (Tule/Guna) women of Panama are known for their hand-sewn molas. These colorful, multi-layer cloths are decorated in intricate patterns and serve as front and back panels on the women's blouses. Molas are also a very popular souvenir with tourists.\r\rThis Spurlock Sunday will feature two crafts based on mola designs: 1) single-sheet coloring pages and 2) multi-layered paper cuts that will help the makers appreciate what the Kuna artists do. A selection of the beautiful cloths will also be on display.\rAbout Spurlock SundaysThese free, drop-in programs are held on the second Sunday of the month from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm and are open to visitors of all ages. Spurlock Sunday activities can include crafts, performances, and hands-on experiences with cultural artifacts.\r\r"
