Historical Campus Walking Tour: “Who, What, and Where on the Quad”

Knowledge at Work curator Mike VanBlaricum will lead visitors around the UIUC Quadrangle, sharing information on events that took place in these iconic buildings. Tours will depart at 1:15 pm and 2:30 pm. These tours are part of the Museum’s “Quad Week” celebration, which also includes a free talk on the planning and development of the Quad by author Lex Tate on October 19 at 4:00 pm.
About the series:
Expand your insights of the University of Illinois as the Spurlock Museum hosts a series of free walking tours to nearby campus locations. The tours, each beginning in the Museum’s lobby, will be held every Sunday afternoon in October. Tours will be offered between 1:00 pm and 3:30 pm, will average 1 mile in distance, and will last between 45 and 60 minutes. The tours are held in conjunction with the exhibit Knowledge at Work: The University of Illinois at 150.
