Handshake Tour

Length: 15 minutes
Group Size: 50 people maximum, based on staff availability
Cost: no charge
Age: 4th grade–adults

This tour is recommended for University or adult groups that wish to have a quick (10–15 minute) introduction to the Museum’s exhibits and facilities, then spend the rest of their visit mainly exploring on their own. Museum staff will walk through the galleries during exploration time to answer questions.

Educators

We recommend the following chaperone/student ratios for visiting K-12 groups:

Pre-K–2nd grade: 3 chaperones per 25 students
3rd–5th grade: 2 chaperones per 25 students
6th–12th grade: 1 chaperone per 25 students
