The Center for South Asian and Middle Eastern Studies welcomes everyone to the screening of a restored print of a landmark Pakistani film, based on Manik Bandopadhyay’s novel Padmanadir Majhi (Boatmen of the River Padma, 1936). Professor Iftikhar Dadi will introduce and discuss the film.
