Part of the University of Illinois International Week 2019
This public program offers insight into the lives of international students, scholars, faculty/staff and their families whom we serve and work with here at the University of Illinois. How can we, as a campus, build our capacity in developing understanding, empathy, patience, curiosity, etc. so that we are better equipped for intercultural interactions/communication, which we’re so very fortunate to experience daily at the University of Illinois. As a means to reach that objective, via Intercultural Spotlight, panelists will share their personal stories about life in their home country, coming to Illinois and what their experiences have been like since arriving. Panelists will also share their vision for how they wish to apply their Illinois experiences in their lives once they depart Chambana.
This event is sponsored by International Student and Scholar Services.
Advance registration is requested from University staff/students.
