Spurlock Sunday: An Afternoon in Bloom

An Afternoon in Bloom is a celebration of National Garden Month. Create craft blooms representing national flowers from around the world. Receive your own flower pot, soil, and seeds to start a flower garden at home. Join our storyteller, Kim Sanford, at 2:00 pm for flower-related stories.

An Afternoon in Bloom is the fourth offering in the spring Spurlock Sunday series. These free, drop-in programs are held on the second Sunday of the month from 1:00–3:30 pm and are open to visitors of all ages. Spurlock Sunday activities can include crafts, performances, and hands-on experiences with cultural artifacts.
