Spurlock Sunday: Mother's Day

Celebrate Mother’s Day this year at the Spurlock Museum. On May 8 from 1:00–3:30 pm, come to the Collaboration and Community Gallery to create a special card, put together a “Make her day jar,” or design any of the other keepsake crafts that will be available. Join our storyteller, Kim Sanford, at 2:00 pm for family-related stories.

Our Mother’s Day celebration is the fifth offering in the spring Spurlock Sunday series. These free, drop-in programs are held on the second Sunday of the month from 1:00 to 3:30 pm and are open to visitors of all ages. Spurlock Sunday activities can include crafts, performances, and hands-on experiences with cultural artifacts.
