Japanese Paper Print Project Film and Live Music Event

This project restores 1930s Japanese paper films and brings them to life for modern audiences. The event will feature a short lecture from Dr. Eric Faden of Bucknell University about the history and technique of the art form. It will be followed by a screening of 28 short films with the live musical accompaniment of Yoko Reikano Kimura and Hikaru Tamaki. This event is co‐sponsored by the Center for East Asian and Pacific Studies, the School of Music, and the Humanities Research Institute.
