Spurlock Sundays: Art With a Queen

This "Art With a Queen" program will feature prominent local drag performer Karma Knightly. Join her to make flower crowns in honor of LGBTQ+ activist icon, Marsha P. Johnson. This program is designed for participants of all ages to enjoy intergenerational connection, education, art, and history. While in attendance, be sure to check out our Rainbow Reflections exhibit in honor of LGBTQ+ Pride.

About the Series

Spurlock Sundays are free, drop-in programs held on one Sunday of the month. Programs are open to visitors of all ages and developed with youth and family in mind. Spurlock Sunday activities can take a multitude of forms, from crafts, games, performances, topical open-mic sharing, community conversations, and hands-on experiences with cultural artifacts.
