Word is Seed a celebration of international voices through poetry and languages and a multilingual, multicultural literary love fest.
This program celebrates the languages and poetry of the world, across cultures, time, and genres. African language poetry and African poets are particularly highlighted.
Participants read original work or selected work from a favored poet in the original language in which the poem was written.
Audiences are introduced to some of the world’s greatest poets, spectacular performances, and a variety of ethno-poetic expressions.
