This event will feature a screening of the 2013 critically acclaimed Pakistani film Zinda Bhaag. It will be followed by a discussion-Q/A session with Professor Iftikhar Dadi, Cornell University who has an expertise on the film. A reception will follow the event.

Speaker Bio

Iftikhar Dadi is John H. Burris Professor of History of Art and Visual Studies at Cornell University. Dadi teaches and researches modern and contemporary art from a global and transnational perspective. His most recent publication is Lahore Cinema: Between Realism and Fable (University of Washington Press, 2022).
