Do you have something important to say? You want your voice heard? Create a zine! Zines, short for magazines, are small, handmade booklets often designed to share special interests for personal stories. Create a personal zine to connect with the Spurlock Museum’s current exhibit Unfinished Revolutions: Living Stories of American Rights. Unfinished Revolutions explores the ongoing struggle to define and expand the meaning of freedom in America. From the Revolutionary era to today, individuals and communities have challenged injustice and demanded change—through protest and litigation, war and grassroots organizing, formal politics and everyday resistance.

In this facilitated workshop, participates are guided in creating a self-expressive zine. Zines will be photocopied and added to the Museum’s zine. The originals can be taken home. All workshop materials are provided. Open to all ages.
