Film Event
Based on “The Tale of Genji,” a story written in the 11th century by Murasaki Shikibu and considered to be the world’s first novel, this movie shines a vivid spotlight on life and love in the Japanese Heian Court. The Spurlock Museum presents this movie in conjunction with the Focus Exhibit “Luxurious Layers: Kimonos of the Heian Court."
Due to the mature nature of this film, no one under 17 will be admitted. Please bring your ID. Movie has English Subtitles.
