Lecture: “The Future of the Illinois Library, a Conversation” by John Wilkin

Join us to hear Dean John Wilkin share his vision for libraries in the 21st Century, especially our own, in light of the challenges they face, and to engage in a conversation about future directions for our world-class library.

John Wilkin assumed the position of University Librarian at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013. Previously, he served as Executive Director, HathiTrust and Associate University Librarian for Publishing and Technology; Interim Co-University Librarian; Associate University Librarian for Library Information Technology and Technical and Access Services; Head of the Digital Library Production Service; Head of the Humanities Text Initiative; and Data Services Librarian and English Selector at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also spent two years at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville as their Systems Librarian for Information Services.
