Description

Rogers: A medium sized hematite seal with a three column inscription. One figure wearing a Shumerian dress is almost hidden by a row of nine dots. Just to the right is the new moon with the old moon in its arms. The second figure is not very clear, at least four dots cover the body. In his hand he grasps a thunder bolt which seems to spring from the foot of the third figure. This figure holds in his hand the crooked staff.

Porada: A short-skirted god with a crook, and a figure (postured like god with mace) grasping(?) a lightning fork, before a sun-god(?). In the field: a sun-disk in a crescent above a mongoose. Terminal: inscription (three columns). I-li a-wi-lim/mar Ba dSin......../ warad dNe (iri2.gal)
