Published Description

Amulets
Amulets had ritual or magical significance, though it is difficult to interpret what they were to bestow upon the wearer. Fertility? Good luck? Amulets and pendants were made from practically every type of stone available. They were worn on bracelets or necklaces, either individually or in combinations with beads. Most amulets and pendants have been found in burials.
