| Description | This is a silver Octadrachm of Tetrashekel from Sidon in Phoenicia, in modern day Lebanon. It was struck early to mid-4th century BCE. The obverse contains the prow of a war-galley over two wavy lines of sea. The reverse contains a biga, a chariot drawn by two horses. A deity drives the cart while the king of Sidon walks behind. |
