This Greek coin is a silver Tetradrachm most likely from Macedonia in the northern part of Greece. It was struck in the mid-4th century BCE. The obverse is a profile of Zeus, king of the gods. The reverse is a youth riding a horse. There is a star underneath the raised forelimb of the horse. To the left of the horse are the letters GOY (Gamma Omicron Upsilon). Above the horse are the letters ΦΙΛΙΓ (Phi Iota Lambda Iota Gamma) denoting the coin as Philip II of Macedon.
