Description | This Greek coin is a 1/6 electrum Stater from Phokaia in Ionia, modern day Turkey. The coin was struck in the earl to mid-4th century BCE. The obverse is a profile of Demeter, Greek goddess of the harvest. The reverse is an incuse square (punch mark). |
