Research Remarks
Description | This small tablet records the animals received during one day for the military kitchens. The large tablet is the total inventory of animals received during a month. The magnitude of that operation may be judged by the fact that 1,350 animals were consumed by the soldiers. The daily accounts reappear in the monthly inventory: the small tablet's contents are found recorded in the larger tablet. |
