Published Description | Italic Black-Glaze Guttus Shape and Ornament - Convex body, disk base, ring handle. Five holes decorate top. Grooved ribs on body. Underside unglazed and washed with red. Dimensions and Condition - H. 0.084 m.; d. body 0.107 m.; d. foot 0.055 m. Tan clay, glossy black glaze which is slightly chipped. Dredged from the Tiber river in Rome. Ex Olcott Collection.
