Published Description | ITALIC BLACK-GLAZE BOWL SHAPE AND ORNAMENT Convex body, slightly flaring foot. Exterior of rim grooved. Interior: elaborate star of five stamped palmettes around an off-center circle with petals(?) and incised circles. DIMENSIONS AND CONDITION h. 0.059 m.; d. body 0.179 m. Fine red clay, glossy black glaze with blue metallic sheen. Large chips missing from rim. Ex Olcott Collection. Campanian. Fourth to third centuries B.
