Description

Apulian Gnathia Askos
Shape and Ornament - Circular body with convex top, flaring mouth, thick strap handle. One full palmette on each side.
Accessory Colors - Red: palmettes.
Dimensions and Condition - H. 0.075 m.; d. body 0.136 m.; d. base 0.079 m. Buff clay, glossy black glaze which is misfired to red on about one third of the body. Handle missing.
