Research Remarks

Description

CORINTHIAN ARYBALLOS
Shape and Ornament. Spherical body, round bottom, thick vertical handle. Tongues on flat surface of mouth and shoulder. Dots on edge of rim. Edges of handle glazed. One the body, quatrefoil with net interstices and tongues below.
Dimensions and Condition. H. 0.074 m.; d. body 0.075 m.; d. rim 0.047 m. Buff clay, dark brown glaze. Slight chipping, glaze worn.
