Published Description

Campanian(?) Teano Cup Shape and Ornament - Ovoid body, tall flaring rim, disk foot. Join of lip and body marked by a row of dots and pendants on either side of an incised line. Underside of foot reserved. Accessory Colors - White: row of dots and pendants. Dimensions and Condition: H. 0.087 m.; d. rim 0.071 m.; d. body 0.07 m.; d. foot 0.038 m. Fine buff clay, glossy dark brown glaze. Foot and rim slightly chipped. Interior completely glazed. From Nola. About 300 B.C. -- Wisseman, Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum, Plate 61, 7.
