Description

ATTIC(?) BLACK-GLAZE CUP (TYPE B)
Shape and Ornament: Continuous curve body, flaring foot. Undecorated. Edge of foot reserved.
From Chiusi.
Second half of the fifth century B.C. -- Wisseman, Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum, Plate 34, 1.

Concave lip, high foot. Fully glazed except for upper foot, which is reserved and grooved. Interior of hollow foot glazed.
