Published Description

ATTIC BLACK-GLAZE MUG Shape and Ornament: Ovoid body decorated with molded ribs with incised tops. Double handle splits at the flared rim into two projections. Fully glazed, including the underside of the base. Found in Rome. About 450-425 B.C. --Wisseman, Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum, Plate 33, 6.
