Published Description

See old label for information. Per Joel Gordon, Dept. of History, UIUC, 1997: (Info on 1931.09.0007a, b, c). "Three nearly identical pots (A and C are virtually identical except for a different design around the mouth rim). They are listed as late Ottoman, not impossible, if very late ( up to early 1920's)." They may be recently manufactured. "They are all the same shape; B has a flatter lid and handle; the connectors are identical. All have different rim designs. The middle-sized pot (B) is stamped "made by Faris" on the side; the large pot (A) has a different stamp (I cannot make it out)."
