Published Description

Per Joel Gordon, Dept. of History, UIUC, 1997: (Info on 1963.01.0065, 0066, 0067). "These three items are listed as if a set, but only the sword and ax are potentially so. All are likely Indain as suggested in the commentary (more likely than Iranian). All are also most likely tourist pieces and not as old as suggested. The craftsmanship in terms of design is minimal (the shield is most interesting to view). The motifs are animal and human figures; there is no writing."
