Published Description | 1964 IX Winter Olympiad Innsbruck, Austria 1,186 competitors and over a million spectators came to Innsbruck. These were the first games to be computerized. This allowed for immediate knowledge of game results. Separate sites were used in the cross-country, bobsled, and tobogganing events. This was the first time separate sites were used. |
