| Published Description | Description from 1971-72 exhibit catalog by Kathleen Cairns: "Lingfield--Dame Eleanor, 1420. Daughter of Sir Thomas Colpeper, first wife of Sir Reginald Cobham of Sterborough. The banner and shields bear the Colpeper and Cobham arms. INSCRIPTION: Here lies Lady Eleanor former wife of Reginald de Cobham, soldier, daughter of Thomas Colpeper, soldier.
