From the catalogue, An Exhibtition of Medieval Brass Rubbings by Kathleen H. Cairns. "Peter de Lacy, 1375. In Mass vestments. Rector of Northfleet and Prebendary of Swerdes, Dublin Cathedral, Ireland. Cnaopy and inscription re-laid. INSCRIPTION: Here lies Peter de Lacy formerly Rector of this parish Preben of the Prebendry of the Cathedral of Swerdes in Dublin who died the 18th day of October A.D. 1370. The way of life is death."
