Description | “These diamond-shaped, four-beveled-edged bifaces have been called Plains Knives, Harahey Knives or Quadrilateral Four-Beveled Bifaces (Brown et al. 1982 [see bib in Turner and Hester]). Sharp, double-ended points are common on these artifacts, but rounded ends are also possible; the distinctive shape of this tool is the result of patterned maintenance through resharpening...“ (Turner and Hester, 227). |
