Published Description

DAN MASK Dr. Carozzi acquired this rare, cloth covered mask from the Dan people of the Ivory Coast in Africa. Unusual is the combination of foreign materials, such as red wool cloth and aluminum. The striped fabric veil show a Saharan influence from the north. Mask with red cloth covering.90.10.51. Gift of Dr. and Mrs. Albert Carozzi.
