Measuring Remarks The necklace is rather rigidly an oval, so the first diameter is from the top of the knot made from the several smaller strands of rope to the bottom the large bead on the third to the left strand of rope hanging off of the bottom of the necklace. The second diameter is a perpendicular measurement to the first, across the widest part of the necklace, including the shells. The depth = thickness and was taken from the thick rope that hold the shells.
