Measuring Remarks Length was measured from the top of the protruding wooden loop to the very bottom of the crescent. The depth was measured right below the figure’s legs, at the top of the crescent along the top of the piece that looks like an E. The width was measured from the outside of the knees while the figure’s front faced the measurer.
