Geoff Gersh and Bradford Reed have been collaborating for over 20 years and founded Reel Orchestrette in 2012. Since then, they have created original scores for several films. For their Sonified Sustainability performance, they will be performing their own, original music to The Epic of Everest, which documents the 1924 Mallory and Irvine expedition.
The Sonified Sustainability Festival celebrates ecological music and arts through a series of programs during Earth Week at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts and other locations on the University of Illinois campus.
This program is co-sponsored by the Student Sustainability Committee at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
