
Exhibit Opening Celebration: Blues Dancing and Its African American Roots

The exhibit kicks off with an opening party at 6:30, featuring the presentation “What is Blues Dancing?” by Kenneth Shipp, Blues Dance Instructor. Sarah Lokay,Ross Blythe, and Julie Brown will assist Kenneth in dance demonstrations. Exhibit viewing and reception to follow. This event is a collaboration between Spurlock Museum and BluesCENTRAL, who will be hosting the Kingdom Brothers Band of St Louis playing at Channing Murray Foundation at 9:00 pm as part of the SnowMELT Blues Dance Festival, March 6–8.
This exhibit runs March 6 to November 15, 2020.
