Hands-on

Natural History Activity Day

Help us celebrate the Focus Gallery exhibit Illinois: An Epic Landscape. In addition to viewing the exhibit, your family will also enjoy activities both inside and outside the Museum. Inside, there will be hands-on activities in the Rowe Learning Center and nature films in the Knight Auditorium. Outside, in the Museum parking lot, the Survey’s Mobile Science Center will present the interactive, hands-on display “Arthropods Across Illinois”. Children also will receive a free animal poster, as long as supplies last. Admission to the Museum and Science Center are free, but tickets are required for Science Center visits, which will begin on the half hour. For ticket reservations or further information, stop by the Museum’s information desk or call the Museum at 217/333-2360.
