Demonstration by Navajo jewelry Maker Ben Yellowhorse
In the hands of Navajo jewelry Maker Ben Yellowhorse, sterling silver is transformed into breathtaking works of art. Mr. Yellowhorse will hold a demonstration of his jewelry making at the Spurlock Museum’s Knight Auditorium on Wednesday, February 11th, at 7:30 PM. The event is open to the public, and admission is free. The demonstration is part of a series of events held in conjunction with the Museum’s Focus Gallery exhibit The American Indian Center of Chicago Celebrates 50 Years of Powwow. This event is co-sponsored by the Verde Gallery, where Mr. Yellowhorse’s work will be displayed from February 10th through March 20th.
